This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced data warehouse and business intelligence professional to be involved in key data management improvement initiatives.
These flexible multiple roles are full-time, non-ongoing for a period of up to two years. The roles may become ongoing, subject to business requirements.
The roles are within the Data Science team and can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.
Please note these positions are often part of geographically dispersed teams.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS6 - $99,734 - $111,701 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity
The Data Management section is responsible for the Tribunal's data and reporting frameworks. The team supports the design and development of the enterprise data warehouse, including integrating a range of internal and external data sources.
Reporting to the Assistant Director Data Science, the Senior Data Science Officer contributes to the delivery of the Tribunal's data science function. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the Tribunal's extract, transform and load (ETL) processes as it transitions to a new Power BI reporting service. Ongoing enhancement of these processes will be required to support the Tribunal's growth and the introduction of new systems.
