UI Designer - AI Neobank App (Australia)
Join Bjak as a UI Designer to work on our innovative AI-powered neobank application targeting the Australian market. You will be responsible for crafting beautiful, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces that make financial services accessible and engaging.
Responsibilities:
- Design pixel-perfect user interfaces for our AI neobank mobile application
- Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and AI/ML engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Ensure designs comply with Australian financial services regulations and accessibility standards
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, particularly in fintech and AI-driven applications
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into design solutions
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile app design expertise
- Expert proficiency in Figma and other design tools
- Deep understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines and patterns
- Experience designing for AI/ML-powered products is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Australian financial services landscape and user expectations
- Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Based in Australia or willing to work Australian hours
Nice to Have:
- Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, React Native)
- Experience with design handoff tools and developer collaboration
