About the role

We're seeking a highly engaging and influential AI Engineer with a strong track record delivering production‑ready AI solutions in complex corporate environments, ideally within financial services.

This role is about turning complex, manual business processes into intelligent, scalable AI‑powered solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. You'll bring deep technical capability, strong automation expertise and the confidence to operate in enterprise environments where reliability, security and adoption matter.

You'll combine hands‑on engineering excellence with commercial awareness, a customer‑first mindset and high emotional intelligence — enabling you to influence stakeholders, drive adoption and help shape how AI is delivered at scale.

So, what will you be doing?

• Analysing and mapping complex manual processes to identify high‑value automation opportunities
• Designing, building and deploying robust AI solutions — including machine learning models, agentic applications and RPA bots — that replace repetitive workflows
• Prototyping, testing and productionising AI‑powered systems in enterprise environments
• Partnering closely with business and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical, scalable and aligned to operational needs
• Monitoring, maintaining and continuously improving live automated systems
• Documenting solutions and enabling adoption through training and knowledge sharing
• Championing ethical, secure and responsible AI practices
• Upskilling teams on GenAI capabilities, patterns and best practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying GenAI solutions in corporate environments, using techniques such as prompting, RAG and agentic patterns (e.g. financial services or consulting environments servicing financial services)
• Deep, hands‑on expertise with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Synapse and Azure AI Services
• A strong engineering background with a solid understanding of financial services products and processes
• Experience with infrastructure deployment and management in enterprise settings
• Advanced Python programming skills and practical experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit‑learn
• A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt your communication style to suit both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Microsoft Azure certifications are highly regarded.
