About the role:

The Manager, Information and Emerging Technology leads the team responsible for the department's information management capability and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. The role integrates two critical functions: information governance and enablement, and AI and emerging technology strategy, ensuring they operate as a connected capability where sound information practices provide the foundation for responsible technology adoption.

The role operates within a shared services model, providing information management and emerging technology services to both the Department of Health and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
