About the Role
The Northern Land Council is seeking two Principal AI & Technology Specialists to shape its enterprise AI roadmap and deliver secure, scalable and culturally appropriate solutions. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will turn organisational priorities into practical AI, automation and digital initiatives, leading delivery and integration across the NLC's Microsoft cloud and enterprise systems.
Combining technical expertise with organisational influence, you will guide multidisciplinary teams and vendors, strengthen AI governance and safeguards, and advise on privacy, security and responsible technology use. You will provide executives with clear recommendations and support continuous improvement within established ICT governance frameworks.

You are an experienced technology specialist who can move confidently between enterprise strategy and practical solution delivery. You bring strong architectural judgement, the ability to resolve complex technical problems and a clear understanding of the safeguards needed to use AI responsibly. You can explain technical choices to non-technical audiences, build productive relationships and help people adopt technology that delivers measurable improvements.
