This role provides overall leadership to the team of data engineers and analysts to implement world-class data solutions that meet our clients' diverse business objectives and needs. This role is both a client-facing consulting role and a hands-on programming/development role. Working with teams of internal data engineers. This role will lead in the delivery on modernizing their current data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes and data marts.

  • Strong experience in leading a technical team of Data Engineers.
  • Experience working on and detailed understanding of Databricks (mandatory)
  • Practical experience with data transformation frameworks from initial design and implementation through to delivery at scale.
  • Previous experience with Databricks DLT or SDP.
  • Strong experience with client engagement & aligning others to your ideas/solutions.
  • Strong experience with dimensional data modelling design principals - defining, reviewing and validating logical design against physical design and source to target mappings
  • Ability to clarify/translate customer requirements into Epics/Stories & remove ambiguity.
  • Ability to mentor other DE team members.
  • Participate in & facilitate interviews of future DE teammates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Strong experience in working on AWS or Azure, Python, SQL, DWH
  • Experience in working on Banking domain (highly desirable).
