We're seeking a highly engaging, influential and experienced AI Engineer with deep expertise in automation and a strong track record in corporate environments, ideally within financial services.

You will form part of our dynamic and progressive Data Platforms teams who are all about transforming complex business processes into intelligent, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact.

You'll combine technical excellence with highly developed commercial awareness, a customer-first mindset, and exceptional emotional intelligence to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of AI-powered automation.

So, what will you be doing in the role?

  • Analyse and map manual processes to uncover automation opportunities.
  • Design and deploy robust AI solutions — machine learning models, agentic applications, and RPA bots — that replace repetitive workflows.
  • Prototype, test, and implement AI-powered systems in production.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to ensure solutions align with operational needs.
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve automated systems.
  • Document solutions and deliver training to stakeholders.
  • Champion ethical, secure, and responsible AI practices.
  • Upskill teams on Gen-AI capabilities and best practices.

What you need to succeed …

  • Proven experience developing Gen-AI solutions (prompting techniques, RAG, agentic patterns) as a gained in a corporate setting (e.g. Financial Services, Consulting Houses servicing the Financial Services industry).
  • Deep hands-on practical expertise with Azure Machine Learning, Synapse, and Azure AI Services.
  • Strong technical engineering background and deep understanding of financial services products and processes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure deployment and management.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a default ability to cater your language and style to suit your audience.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications highly regarded.
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

Please note that is very important that your skills and experience to date have featured strong examples of practical work in the AI space and you are passionate about providing sensational customer experiences every step of the way.
