Nine
North Sydney, NSW
hybrid
Full Time / Permanent

Job Description

Join Nine's AI team to democratise AI capabilities across Australia's leading media network. Reporting directly to the Director of Product, Data & AI you will own the product strategy, vendor relationships, and enterprise management of Nine's self-serve AI platforms available to all Nine employees. This role balances active platform product management with workforce capability building, driving bottom-line efficiency, operational velocity, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation. You will lead the strategy for enterprise low-code/no-code agentic platforms, manage core platforms, establish robust AI governance processes, and lead organisation-wide literacy and champions networks. Managing a dedicated AI Product Manager, you will empower every team across Nine to safely and effectively leverage AI in their daily workflows.

What you'll do:

Enterprise AI Platform Product Management & Strategy:

  • Own the end-to-end product management, lifecycle, and roadmap for core self-serve enterprise AI platforms accessible to all Nine employees.
  • Lead the product strategy for agentic platforms and low-code/no-code tools, encompassing platform assessment and rollout, connector and Model Context Protocol (MCP) prioritisation, predefined workflow templates, and the build of enterprise-wide low-code/no-code agents.
  • Track, analyse, and report on platform adoption metrics, seat utilisation, prompt and token efficiency, and cross-departmental time savings to quantify business productivity gains.

Vendor Management & Enterprise AI Governance:

  • Manage strategic relationships with AI platform vendors and continuously evaluate emerging market tools for platform expansion and integration.
  • Establish and manage the enterprise AI Tool Request and Vetting Process, working closely with Data Governance, Legal and Cyber Security to enforce strict standards around data privacy, IP protection, copyright compliance, and security.
  • Optimise seat utilisation and platform licensing across vendor contracts to drive enterprise cost optimisation and risk mitigation.

Workforce Capability, Literacy & Community Leadership:

  • Partner with People & Culture to design and deliver tiered AI learning programs and self-guided learning frameworks that elevate workforce AI literacy across Nine.
  • Direct the cross-organisational GenAI Champions programme, fostering a decentralised network of AI advocates and super-users across business units.
  • Own internal communications and knowledge management by managing the GenAI Intranet Hub, curating real-world internal case studies, and publishing the monthly enterprise AI newsletter

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on enterprise self-serve software, SaaS platforms, or business-facing AI tools.
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic AI vendor ecosystems and executing commercial tool evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience leading low-code/no-code platform strategies, prompt engineering libraries, or agentic builder frameworks.
  • Proven track record of designing enterprise workforce enablement programs, training frameworks, or leading cross-departmental champions networks.
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and developing product talent.
