We had our strongest financial year last year and we are on track to build on this growth and build something important and large out of Perth Western Australia. We are looking for a new Software & AI Engineer to help us maintain our lead as our product suite and customers expand.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in full stack development who wants to transition into working on machine learning full-time. You’ll be responsible for training, evaluating and productionising a range of machine learning models as well as developing novel algorithms that knock the socks of our customers. We have big ambitions to drive our product and growth.

• At least 2 years of full stack development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Python skills - ideally worked with ReactJS before.
• Experience with containerisation using Docker.
• Worked with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Completed some online machine learning courses and are eager to learn more.
• Not a Jerk - no matter how brilliant. We don’t need any Elton Johns or Mariah Careys in this team.
• Focussed on self improvement - Machine Learning, AI and Computer Vision are moving at a rapid pace, you need to be passionately interested in these subjects, you’ll be spending a LOT of time in them.

We have a fairly modern and light-weight software development process. Our tech stack has a number of services deployed in a single docker compose script including C++/Gstreamer for video processing, Py/Pytorch/YOLO/Ultralytics on the AI side, React/TS frontend, Python backend, PG database all running on rack mounted servers with 4x RTX 5000 GPUs in each.

We built a new stack for Facial Recognition and License Plate Recognition in the space of 6 weeks. Our team of only a handful of developers moves fast despite the challenging variety of problems we face when building ML heavy applications.
