  • Business / Data Analysts

Requirements

About You

For the data specialists we would love to hear from you if you have:

General skills

  • 2+ years’ business or consulting experience, 5+ years’ for lead roles.
  • 2+ years’ proficiency in coding with Python, R or similar, 5+ years’ for lead roles.
  • 2+ years’ coding in SQL, 5+ years’ for lead roles.
  • 2+ years’ experience in using cloud platforms, ranging from Azure, Snowflake, AWS and GCP, through to Kubernetes, Docker and similar, 5+ years for lead roles.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing methodologies e.g., Ralph Kimball or data vault.
  • An understanding of CI/CD practices in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • The ability to think “outside the box”.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage conflicting priorities.
  • A tertiary degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, science, engineering, or technology (advanced degree preferred).

Data Visualisation

  • 2+ years’ experience with one of Microsoft Power BI, Quicksight, or Tableau, 5+ years’ for lead roles.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation best practices e.g., Stephen Few.
  • Experience in deploying production ready reports, dashboards, and analytical applications.
  • The ability to solicit requirements from business stakeholders and translate it to technical requirements.

Data Engineering

  • 2+ years’ experience with one of Microsoft ADF, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Fivetran, DBT, Talend, Informatica, and other ELT/ETL tools, 5+ years for lead roles.
  • 2+ years’ experience with one of AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synpase, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Postgresql, Mysql, etc, 5+ years for lead roles.
  • Experience in IoT architectures and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Experience in deploying production ready data pipelines.
  • The ability to interpret technical requirements in translate in technical solutions.

Data Scientist

  • 2+ years’ experience in one of Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker, H20, DataRobot, Sparkbeyond, or Tensorflow, 5+ years for lead roles.
  • Familiar with data science methodologies e.g., CRISP DM or Informs.
  • Expertise in statistics and machine learning models, tests, and algorithms.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, statistical tests, data mining and other advanced analytics techniques.
  • Extensive experience in data preparation and feature engineering.
  • Strong analytical, research, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical, curious and inquisitive mind.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.

For the delivery specialists we would love to hear from you if you have:


Data Delivery Leads (or in more familiar terms — data-focussed Scrum Masters and Agile Project Managers).

  • 5+ years’ demonstrated experience managing large and complex data focussed transformation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile delivery methods and Project Management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, coach and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Pragmatism in balancing innovation with quality and timely delivery. 

Data / Business Analyst

  • 5+ years’ demonstrated data analyst or technical business analyst experience. 
  • The ability to solicit requirements from business stakeholders and translate it to technical requirements.
  • Curiosity for data and a desire to stay in touch with data methodologies and evolving solutions.
  • A background in software development, integration or data engineering. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving attitude. 
  • The ability to work and communicate well with both technical and business teams. 
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. 
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or JIRA.
