Step into a role designed to lift how risk and compliance work actually gets done. This is an opportunity to reshape processes that have grown complex over time and redesign them to be clearer, simpler and genuinely useful to the business. You'll work closely with teams across Group Risk, helping prepare our ways of working for AI enablement and future efficiency. With strong visibility across senior risk leadership, this role suits someone ready to influence beyond their immediate remit and deliver change that sticks.

We have a permanent and max term contract opportunities available and open to candidates based in Naarm (Melbourne), Gadigal Country (Sydney)or Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do

  • Re‑engineer risk and compliance processes end to end, working with teams to identify friction and design clearer, outcome‑focused future states.
  • Facilitate workshops and conversations that surface how work really happens, including undocumented steps and workarounds.
  • Translate regulatory and risk requirements into practical operating models, roles, controls and accountabilities.
  • Create clear process maps, requirements and transition plans that support AI enablement and efficiency outcomes.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Group Risk, building trust and momentum during change.
  • Track delivery progress, risks and dependencies, contributing clear insights to governance and leadership forums.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in process improvement, re‑engineering or business analysis within risk, compliance or regulated environments.
  • Ability to break down complex processes and redesign them in a way people can actually use.
  • Confidence facilitating conversations with peers and leaders, even when topics feel sensitive.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working through detail.
  • Experience documenting processes or operating models using formal tools.
  • Curiosity about how AI can improve processes and ways of working.
  • Exposure to Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies, such as Green or Black Belt.

What We Offer

  • Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard.
  • 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what's important to you).
  • Work from home and many more flexibility options with myFlex.
  • Up to 50% off personal insurance, including home and motor insurance.
  • Partner discounts on private health insurance, tech & appliances, and many more.
