Hiring !! – Application Support Engineer – AI

  • 12 months contract opportunity- with a high potential to go perm
  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Hybrid work arrangements – 2 days from office and 3 days WFH
  • Offering $470/day including super

As an Application/Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible to resolve technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviors or to answer technical questions about the software and platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Advocate providing support to users/administrators of our platform. Contributing to the growth of best practices for delivery of support services.
  • Understanding of platform, cloud technologies and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful resolution of challenging technical situations.
  • Providing input across business units regarding process and product improvements when working on technical issues for customers.
  • Resolve issues through various technologies including web, chat, email, case updates, as well as direct telephone support.
  • Using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights.

Skills required:

  • Min 4+ years of related experience within either application technical support or software development environment.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease and complexity.
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot basic Java and JavaScript code.
  • Proficient in analyzing log files and standard debugging concepts.
  • Advanced MySQL / Postgres knowledge and hands on experience (Oracle also helpful but optional).
  • Prior experience leveraging AI in an application support or software development role
  • Some understanding of remote administration via PowerShell or any other.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
