What’s the role?
Westpac Group has a globally recognised intelligent automation team who are passionate about making Westpac a faster and better bank. We are growing our intelligent automation capabilities by supporting AI agents which allow us to deliver “wow” colleague and customer experiences. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise, leadership and a passion for driving innovation in the AI infused intelligent automation space.
Hands-On Leadership: Apply your expertise in cloud intelligent automation technologies (AI, Robotics, IDP, workflow etc.) to run experiments and technically lead delivery teams. You will be comfortable being in the detail and contributing to the development process.
Lead and Inspire: Mentor a diverse team of intelligent automation specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, data and operations stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will be adept at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Champion Best Practices: Promote and implement operating models and best practices for the full software development lifecycle, including AGILE, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring, and nous with the unique challenges with developing and deploying AI based solutions.
