About the role:
We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Data, AI and Loyalty Team at Bunnings! This role plays a key part in advancing the company's AI transformation by designing, developing and operationalising machine learning models that drive business value. Data Scientists at Bunnings contribute to scalable analytics solutions using platforms such as Snowflake and Azure and involves collaborating across teams to embed data science into decision-making processes.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems through data, demonstrated by strong academic results or research publications. You will be comfortable applying master's level statistical techniques, such as inverse propensity score weighting, to address business challenges. You love abstracting away complex systems into simpler models. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills and superior problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills. In addition, the ability to work collaboratively, and be able to commit to delivering on schedule against agreed deadlines.
