This role is all about bridging analytical depth with real-world business impact, ensuring insights are practical, trusted and aligned to what matters most, our members.

What you'll do

  • Drive insight that matters: Deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that inform strategic, commercial and operational decisions while partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure insights are relevant, trusted and actionable.
  • Advanced analytics & modelling: Design and build statistical, predictive and machine learning models to solve complex business problems and continuously monitor, refine and improve performance over time.
  • Communication & data storytelling: Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, compelling stories that present insights, trade-offs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, from deep analytical dives to executive-ready summaries.
  • Collaboration & ways of working: Work as part of a multi-disciplinary analytics team, balance research, delivery and iteration across multiple projects and share knowledge and lift the overall capability of the team.

About you

You have spent at least 5 years working in hands on data, analytics or data science roles, combined with a tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, or similar. You've worked with large, complex datasets from multiple sources and enjoy making sense of messy, real-world data. You're confident applying statistical analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning, and you've taken models all the way from experimentation through to production and ongoing optimisation. You're fluent in Python and SQL, and you're familiar with tools like Tableau, Power BI or similar to help bring insights to life. What really sets you apart is how you translate analysis into impact. Using data storytelling, you are able to explain complex ideas clearly and compellingly to both technical and non-technical audiences, communicating with confidence and influencing decision-making through insight.
