As part of our next phase of product innovation and platform development, we are recruiting a Software Engineer with a focus on R&D and AI to contribute to the design and implementation of next-generation features. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an engineer with strong foundations in software architecture and a passion for experimenting with intelligent systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with product and engineering leads to develop intelligent features for Zinga, Alby, and Goldroom.
Build and test APIs, backend logic, and automation tools in a modular, scalable architecture.
Contribute to the R&D roadmap and develop AI tools (e.g., NLP, recommendation engines, agentic AI).
Optimise platform performance and user experience across web and mobile interfaces.
Work across the full development lifecycle; concept, build, test, deploy, and iterate.
Engage in code reviews, testing protocols, and security compliance across services.
Explore and prototype new frameworks and AI/ML models relevant to the platform’s use cases.
Integrate third-party services and APIs for payments, CRM, logistics, or analytics as needed.
Support platform reliability with bug tracking, documentation, and version control best practices.
Participate in cross-functional brainstorming and tech strategy planning sessions.
